Production radar
Halation builds and runs production intelligence for production and service companies: a weekly radar of who is shooting what, a private contacts directory built from your own call sheets, and a jobs calendar, all on one password-protected page. It started as the system we built for our sister company, In Color, to see commercials and long-form productions in prep before the calls go out. Each lead carries the producer, director and DoP where that is public, the stage the job is at, and a note on what to offer and when. Your team marks leads contacted, quoting or booked, and adds notes everyone can see.
We research the sources every week — trade press, Companies House filings, screen agencies, funds, markets and festivals — and keep it current. One build per company, run and maintained by us.

OriginThe radar and contacts database began as In Color’s own production office: the way a boutique production company keeps track of commercials and long-form work in the UK before it reaches the usual lists. It runs every week for In Color, and it is the same system we build for other companies, one at a time. With In Color we offer it as Production Desk / Radar, a joint venture between the two companies.
Coverage is the UK by default. Other territories are built to order.
